If you're looking for a lightweight, stable design with excellent durability, the Osprey is the right canoe for you. Sportsmen, older couples, or families who need a canoe thats easy to handle out of the water as in, will agree we've got the perfect canoe for them. The Osprey is constructed of Oltonar/Royalex®, our version of Uniroyal's Royalex®, a lightweight yet durable ABS laminate.

To produce the best hull for the job, we've taken design features from popular Old Town models and blended them together. The length and width of the Kingfisher gives excellent stability and maneuverability. The arched bottom of the Penobscot allows the wide bottom to be stiffer without adding excess weight. The Penobscot's fine ends make the hull more efficient and better tracking.

Like our popular Discovery 133K and 160K, the Osprey is available in portage or rowing versions. The rowing version includes a center seat, with two sets of oarlocks.

*Green and red Ospreys will feature our standard natural wood components. Olive Ospreys will feature dark stained wood components.
